Hi fellow creative minds, I’m back with something new to show you. This time I’ve created this art journal spread, but it needs the background story to be fully appreciated 😉
So before I get to this new Art Journal Spread…. have you noticed I gave my blog a major make-over? I actually switched from Blogger to WordPress and I designed a new logo :). So you might see some redirecting in the address bar for a while but I will fully use my .nl domain when everybody learned about the move ;).
Today I like to show you a journal spread I created last week. I’ve been really busy teaching classes, teaching gym classes and working so haven’t got a lot of time time to craft but there’s always time to do a little journal spread.
I bought a smaller journal for the moments that I have a little less time to get creative. But I need to see that it’s quite challenging for me to work on such a small space 😉.
I wanted to combine some awesome Studio Light materials with my new Lindy’s Magicals and it’s became a floral bright colored project 😅.
Today I’d like to show you a journal page I’ve created. As you may know I’m not that confident about journal pages but I do like to challenge myself every now and then 😉.
Jenine asked me to try out the Pixie Powders by Creative Expressions and I decided to combine them with my Lindy’s Magicals and shakers.
So I’m following some pretty awesome Art Journal artist lately and felt greatly inspired by the way they combine the for me known Mixed Media techniques with drawings. So I decided to give it a go.
I have been drawing my whole life, especially fantasy drawings of elves when I was a teenager. I don’t think I’m that good but in Art Journal it doesn’t have to be perfect.
