Hi everyone! I’m back with a new project I like to show you. It took me forever to finish it but I’m definitely happy with how they turned out!
So I’m back with quick post to show you all this altered heart I created this weekend. I stumbled across the challenge at 13@rts and thought I could use their moodboard to create something for my friend who I visited yesterday.
Hi everyone! I went to HobbyVision yesterday and demonstrated all my favorite Lindy’s, Finnabair and Tim Holtz products yesterday. And of course brought back some new craft goodies, like the gorgeous Mermaid Seashells Magical Set. Neede to create something with these pretty colors so I came up with this cute mini notebook cover.
Hi creative friends! Today I’d like to show you my latest Mixed Media project, an altered home décor piece. I’ve used a wooden hanger in a heart shape from a local budget store and altered it to make it look less dull 😉
Hi everyone! Today I wanted to show you something a bit different than usual. I altered a notebook before of course but this time I used some new colors.
It’s my turn today to show you guys a new project at the HobbyVision blog.
Last week I got this idea to create something in green tones. This box had been laying around for quite some time, already painted white so it just needed to be altered 😉
Today I’d like to show you a small altered frame. I wanted to join the challenge at Mixed Media & Art, they have this gorgeous moodboard to use as inspiration. And I thought it would be a perfect match with these owl pendants I had laying around for ages 😉.
Hi everyone 🙂
I did a Facebook live stream in the HobbyVision group and created this altered frame. It’s actually a mirror in a frame in a baroque style. When I came across it at the store I just needed to buy a couple to alter.
Hi everyone, Today I’d like to show you this altered Notebook cover I made for HobbyVision.
I started with a simpel kraft colored notebook and added cardboard and modelling paste to create a vintage look. I’ve colored everything with black gesso.
This is one of those projects that needs to be seen live, ’cause the picture doesn’t do it justice. You need to see what happens when you look at it from different angels ;). Dit is zo’n project wat je live moet zien, omdat het echt niet tot zijn recht komt op de foto’s. Je moet gewoon zien wat er gebeurt wanneer je het beweegt in het licht ;).
I used all kinds of mediums and worked with Art Anthology Dimensional Paints, Art Alchemy paints, Art Ingredients Mica etc. The opal magic paints, waxes and mica were my main ingredients with this frame. Please check out my YouTube video if you like to learn more about the frame and subscribe if you like to see more of my videos :). Below this post you can find a collection of products I’ve used.
Hi everyone! I hope everybody is enjoying their weekend so far. Although my weekend was packed with all kinds of stuff I managed to do some crafting to.
I decided to make something different this time. I’m not really a drinker, but I do like the combination of something nice to eat with something even better to drink. So every now and then I treat myself with a stinky blue cheese and a glas of Pedro Ximenez Sherry. To give this beloved but empty bottle a second life I decided to alter it.
I’ve been playing around again with some of my new products form HobbyVision and one of the things I got was the Idea-ology Qoute Chips set by Tim Holtz. I absolutely adore that box of inspiration, I’m a genuine quote lover ;).
I used a mini canvas as base and added several pieces of fabric and drywall tape to create texture. I added some extra modelling paste and painted everything white. Next time I’ll give my embellishments a layer of gesso before I add them to my canvas though, it took me way to long to get some good coverage. I gave it it’s color using several ink sprays and Inka gold and Nuvo Embellishment Mouse.
